Scrap or Donate?

I still drive my 2001 Sunfire that I got in high school. I used to know a guy who owned a collision shop there who got it in a auction and repaired the front end and dash from the crash it was in and i got it really cheap.

The title is salvaged so the resale value is very low. There is some problems with it such as the CV joints. Would it be worth the effort to post on Ebay or Craigslist or would I benefit more financially by donating it?

The car is in good physical shape, just some work that needs to be done.

might as well try selling it here for whatever. people are always looking for beaters.

someone will buy it for a beater, back in november i sold my old pickup on craigslist in 20 mins :smiley:

seriously sell it…

you are going to get at least $500 for it…that is a good size chunk of change there…who knows what its actually worth, but its more than $0, or the write off in taxes…

what’s book value on it? If you can get more than 40% of book value it’s better to sell it. If you can’t, donate.
