Screw Wires, Use Yourself In a Home Network

BOFFINS at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) have worked out a way of using the human body as a high-speed network and connect people to electronic devices.
The Human Area Network (HAN) device can manage fast data transfer between devices using the human body as a conduit.

yeah - they did this with powering a mouse one time.

using the body to carry a low amperage current to power the mouse.

lol, han

So far the engineers have managed to transmit data at 2Mbps. RedTacton-enabled devices have to be within about 20cm of the skin to work with the data on the body.

Wonder how long it took them to get this far.

I can see this being useful tech in China where they have 1/3 of the world’s population… “Unemployed? Why not become a bonafide network cable!! Good benefits, flexible hours, 401k!!”

lol

You should start that up here, as Your business model.

…like, “Han’s Across America”?

“Hey, baby want to join my network, and swap packets.”

“I’m clean baby, no viruses, no spam, no trojans and that is a good thing!!” /geek_humor
