Given the track record of the reporting agency, I agree that a bit of initial skepticism is warranted.
I too agree that fox tends to be almost shock news as sorts with more regards to getting a story out rather than the validity of it… But I heard about this before it hit even fox. This was the first link I could find on it

how important is this to us, normal american citizens in our day to day life? not very, not at all actually. its just a story to make people mad and say “well good ole GW would NOT have stood for this!!”

I originally said that because the Fox News article said the claims were made when he was breifly handed over to Iraqi officials and their article didn’t say who was charging them. But I found a different one through Google saying that the Navy is charging them so I changed my post.
I feel bad for anyone who could read a story like this and say, “oh well, it doesn’t really effect normal Americans”.
Really? That’s how much you give a shit about our troops, especially a SEAL team out there doing a job that would make 99% of this board piss themselves. They shouldn’t have to worry about ending up in court because someone we are at war with gets a bloody lip.

The only “change” we’ve seen so far with Obama is our troops being reprimanded for doing what they’re ordered to do, our economy is tanking faster than ever, we are in more debt from Obama in less than 1 year than we were in 8 years of Bush, unemployment is at a record high, and Obama is too preoccupied pushing his own agendas and sucking up to the world to notice what is really going on in America.
