So the new catback (stock) went on the car. Unfortunately, the cat I picked up, the flanges were warped and I can’t get it to seal. Could I use Liquid Gasket or something like that to seal this badboy up? My car is decently quiet even with the leak, but I want the UBER-quiet.
You can use the hi temp gasket RTV but whether it seals or not depends on how big your leak is.
Ive used this stuff on exhaust before and it seems to do the job. I have also seen it used on Import dragsters making 1600hp.

i have a warped downpipe flange from when i hit a speed bump at 75
i just use orange hige temp RTV + a metal gasket and it seals perfectly
