The easiest way is to show up to one of the meeting, and introduce yourself to either myself (Aaron) or 1mns13 (Jared). Fill out an application, and hand $20 to Jared. Done and done. You get two stickers and a membership card to use at the sponsors’ locations.

Full Veilside body kit, Veilside hood, Greddy Turbo kit, intercooler, nitrous, CO2 spray, AP big brakes, lambo doors, huge stereo, Veilside wheels on the way, forged internals etc etc. Should make about 600whp.
I’m trying to get him to come to the dyno, we’ll see.
I call BS on that guy Aaron. But who knows… Get him to dyno to see, but I seriously doubt he’s 600 rwhp. At the crank… Maaayyybeee. That Greddy kit is only good for ~350-400 rwhp max from what I’ve read… the nitrous would add a bit more of course but likely not 200hp more, but the forged internals means he may have lowered the compression ratio for more boost… but on stock compression those kits can’t really do more than about ~ 6psi safely.
BTW, is that the same guy that had his car done at Sumaru’s (the “first twin turbo’d 350Z in Edmonton”) which afterwards the owner blew the motor shortly after?
Yeah, thats him. The compression ratio has been lowered, and the boost levels can now safely be raised, a lot.

Well, it will definately be interesting to see what happens if you do get him to dyno.
But I wonder where he got the 600 rwhp number from? If that’s what he found on the internet somewhere, that’s probably the maximum achievable wtih his setup, but probably with MAJOR tuning (and not conservatively). That would be key.
From what I’ve heard of the owner of this car, he’s totally clueless. And there’s hardly much for 350Z “tuning” experience locally here in Edmonton yet. I’d wager to guess there’s no one in the city right now that could pull the maximum potential from the VQ engine… yet.
P.S. I still can’t believe that car was let out of the shop the first time with NO boost guage and NO blow-off valve! (at least that’s what I heard) :roll:

So the owner of the car blew the engine or the owner of Sumaru’s…Is that the same 350 that was in the shop when I was there with you Aaron or is the new one the one I saw?

But despite the diligence of the owner of the car (hehe), the setup on his car was obviously lacking some basic safety systems as well.
Saw a MINT dark grey s13 near Boston Pizza in Sherwood Park (the new one on Broadmoor). It had the whole HICAS kit, absolutely beautiful. Looked inside… only 88,000 km on it. Pretty damn rare to see an s13 so well maintained.

Saw a phat 300zx (Z31) today. It was pearl white (and no not the 88 shiro edition) that was an 85 with a kaminari body kit and some sweet OZ 18" . I was at my shop painting when I noticed him drive by and then 5 min later he stopped in. I gave him some info about necc and hopfully he’ll be at our next meet.
Ohhhh, I think I saw that Z31 back like a year ago in the park, It looked soo sweat and sounded awesome. Hope he somes out.

About a month or so ago I was driving to Mayfield Common (West End) on Stony Plain Road going west and pulled up beside a guy in a Fiero that said he was getting a Black Nissan Skyline in a few days and he posts on 780. I told him to join the club. Anyone heard from him?

nice. Way to represent. The only Skyline that we have had at a meet was Christians and I think he sold it. Skylines will come soon enough.
His name is Dallas and unfortunately he’s been forced to sell his Skyline already. I do believe it’s still for sale if you go check out the Marketplace forum at 780tuners.
