Seen a Member's Ride

1mns13 (Jared), entering 153 ave, and off to Manning south bound.
car is quieter then I remember.

i saw a stock s14 240 the other day, kind of a dusty browny topaz color, dunno if any members have s14s but damn those cars are sexy.

I’m pretty sure it wasnt a pulsar… but then again, i am stupid. :?
Jeff

Saw a new style 240 today, black, with NECC stickers, it was downtown. Nice car

Marlowe, that might have been someone else, I don’t remember taking 153ave in my S13 this year.

:o that would probably explain why it sounded different.

HOLY MAN. The strangest thing just happened to me.
So, I’m sitting in my house, on the necc web site, checking shit out and a SWEET 240 (s13) drives by. I live on a very slow street (aka:local traffic only type) I have never seen this 240 anywhere before. It was black with some type of kit, rims, and a nice looking F&F type spoiler. It also had dark black tint. I was so stunned that I ran outside in my pajamas to get another look. It was such a nice car. Does anyone know who this was?

I keep seeing 240’s all over the place…

Wonder if its anyone on here?

i saw a black S13 today with grey graphics up the side of it and a black alumin spoiler. I think it also had chrome rims. I didnt get a real good look at it though. Not really my style, but has anyone else seen it around?

Talked to the guy who owns that white Skyline GT-R with the Karbs stickers on it. That car is slick!!!

Saw a s14 today in st.albert and then I was like ohh, that car has necc stickys and it was s14 who (sorry man I don’t know your name) waved. I waved back incase you didn’t see and you now think im a ass.

I got an Idea  for the members area. Now that we got like 25 it is hard for me atleast to put a name to a person to a car to a forum name. What if we added our first names beside our forum names…and we could get really crazy and have pictures of our rides beside too. Let me know what you think guys/girls

We all could put our names/cars in our signature area, unless you are paranoid of those internet stalkers.

how do i become an offical member?

I never see any nice Nissans driving around …I dont even see any members rides crusising around …and I am always keeping my eyes open for nce rides in the summer …it weird

The easiest way is to show up to one of the meeting, and introduce yourself to either myself (Aaron) or 1mns13 (Jared). Fill out an application, and hand $20 to Jared. Done and done. You get two stickers and a membership card to use at the sponsors’ locations.

Not a member, but met the owner of a silver 350Z…

Full Veilside body kit, Veilside hood, Greddy Turbo kit, intercooler, nitrous, CO2 spray, AP big brakes, lambo doors, huge stereo, Veilside wheels on the way, forged internals etc etc. Should make about 600whp.

I’m trying to get him to come to the dyno, we’ll see.

I call BS on that guy Aaron. But who knows… Get him to dyno to see, but I seriously doubt he’s 600 rwhp. At the crank… Maaayyybeee. That Greddy kit is only good for ~350-400 rwhp max from what I’ve read… the nitrous would add a bit more of course but likely not 200hp more, but the forged internals means he may have lowered the compression ratio for more boost… but on stock compression those kits can’t really do more than about ~ 6psi safely.

BTW, is that the same guy that had his car done at Sumaru’s (the “first twin turbo’d 350Z in Edmonton”) which afterwards the owner blew the motor shortly after?

Yeah, thats him. The compression ratio has been lowered, and the boost levels can now safely be raised, a lot.

Hey, I just went by what I was told. I would like to see if it really dyno’s that too.

I seen that silver 350Z going by the Moose Factory last night.

Well, it will definately be interesting to see what happens if you do get him to dyno.

But I wonder where he got the 600 rwhp number from? If that’s what he found on the internet somewhere, that’s probably the maximum achievable wtih his setup, but probably with MAJOR tuning (and not conservatively). That would be key.

From what I’ve heard of the owner of this car, he’s totally clueless. And there’s hardly much for 350Z “tuning” experience locally here in Edmonton yet. I’d wager to guess there’s no one in the city right now that could pull the maximum potential from the VQ engine… yet.

P.S. I still can’t believe that car was let out of the shop the first time with NO boost guage and NO blow-off valve! (at least that’s what I heard)
