WTF no $5 blackjack this year? weak. i always make a killing at that at the little festivals.

LOL GOOD OL DAYS

hahahahhahhaha

for some reason this made me laugh my ass off at how dumb it sounded

Great thread.

Has anyone ever encountered someone who uses “come” in place of “came”?
Also, the unnecessary use of the “them”.

“So I come up to Bill’s, and them there people was not even doin nothin!”

I get a lot of that with the mass amount of hick towns that surround Utica.

god i cant stand it when people missuse the word “litterally”

the other day i was at my parents house and my mom, of all people was describing someone she knew as “litterally coming from dirt.” oh ya mom? she was born from dirt? raised in dirt? does she still live in dirt?

in case it hasn’t been mentioned, youse [pl] annoys the shit out of me

as in “what are youse doing later”

The literally thing bugs me too. That’s the word that’s supposed to distinguish between when you’re being figurative and actual, yet people using it incorrectly does the exact opposite.

i hate when people misspell literally and misuse too. :stuck_out_tongue:

^^^go to Pittsburgh and listen to them say “yens” in the same form as yous

ex.) “what are yens doing tonight”

god that shit was annoying the 3 years I lived there.

flourish, thread, flourish!

I added to my original post.

did they shut off the wifi at your station?

And here I thought that I was the only person who noticed people’s horrendous use of the English language.

:highfive:

I can’t stand when people (:cough: women) use like, like every three words. Like, OMFG. It’s, like, my biggest pet peeve.

i say like a lot when i am telling a story…

i do too, bad habit

Sometimes when I’m explaining something, I’ll say “basically” waaaay too much.

We all do it to a certain extent. However, you know what I’m referring to. You must.

hahaha, guilty
