Sell my truck for $10k

[quote=“MikeRi24,post:18,topic:35894"”]

as much as i like this truck, id say unless you REALLY need it for its intended purposes, then get into something thats more useful to you for daily uses. this the second reason i got rid of my 8.1 GMC Sierra 2500. only thing i really “used” it for was hauling 4 loads of topsoil and pulling a car trailer to get my mustang. otherwise i just drive it from point A to point B. i “grew up” and now i have a V8 Explorer that can still prob tow a car trailer if i need to and gets 20mpg

EDIT: dont know why i just said that. clearly i am NOT the person to talk to when it comes to buying/selling cars.

So you’re the voice of experience. :gotme: What you said makes perfect sense.

Someone mentioned that the truck is diesel. True?

No its a V10 gasser

looks nice man, i would keep it, i’m going today to look at F150’s… Trucks FTW!

i have witnessed first hand this monster first hand pull a jeep out of a creek as if it where …well not towing anything at all…glws… totally worth 10k especially to a buyer who needs to tow an ocean liner

Thats the kind of stuff I live for right now… I dunno if its cause I have a truck that can do that sort of thing without even thinking twice… or because thats what I wanted to be able to do and then bought the truck that could do it. I culd build something older, cheaper, and not care so much if it breaks.

On the other hand…

140000 + miles… selling anything with that many miles, a gasser (10 mpg), and “enjoyed” for $10,000 is an opportunity that doesn’t come up all that often.

I’m so torn.

yea if it were a diesel 100k wouldnt be a problem. but a gas engine that has been used as a truck should gets kinda iffy above 100k.

and its a ford. enough said… lol…

TURBO DIESEL FTW

This is the same motor/tranny they have been putting in massive RVs for years, over 300k on a lot of them.

keep it, and lets do some offroad meets

140k on this v10 aint shit. it sounds scary, but the motors are commonly run in excess of 200k

more concerned with tranny, and other wear parts.

gotta learn sometime

i knew youd be bored with it in no time

Those v10’s rock. the f350 dump at work has like 218k on it with no major problems, and the thing is beaten on daily.

Right now I have a 95 S15 2ws 2.2L auto

I delivered the truck Friday @ 7ish, it was painted that night… pretty sharp.
