selling the beater

So I put an ad on craigslist selling my 96 neon for $750. I figured theres now way anyone would pay that much and was expecting some low ballers and such. I received an email and it seems sort of sketchy.

Hello, how are you doing today… I saw your item which im interested
in, I’m ok with the condition and I will like to make an outright
purchase. I will want to know how you want to proceed but I will like
to issue a certified check or cashier check to you upon the
confirmation and clearance
of the check, my shipper will be coming for the pick up of the item.
So I will require the following information from you for the payment
asap. Full name, Physical address, Zip code and Phone number. Thanks
for your cooperation and hope to read from you soon.

Souned like some sort of automated response. My reply;
I would prefer cash or western union money order. If your only option is certified check or cashier check that will be fine. Of course it will have to be verified before I release the title or bill of sale. So you would like to buy it as is for $750? When would you like to complete the deal?
I just got this back.

Hello,
Thank you for the prompt response to my inquiry.I am very much
satisfied with the condition and price of the item and i will like to
make an outright purchase immediately, so i will advice that you
withdraw the ad from the web. Pls i will like to know how you intend
to proceed on this but i would prefer that i issue a cashier check in
US dollars to your location and upon the confirmation and clearance of
payment my shipper will come for the pick-up at your location.I would
really have loved to come for the viewing of the item but i am not
chanced but my movers will.
If you are okay with this please do get back to me with the following
details so i can make out the payment IMMEDIATELY.
1: Your Full Name to be on the payment
2: Your Address and post code
3: Your mobile and land number.
I will expect your Mail ASAP.
Thanks.

It doesn’t seem right still. Should I ignore it? Should I give him a p.o. box address? Try and get some personal info from him?

its just a scam they will send u a check and drain ur bank…its just bs, look on craigslist there is a section on that scam and there have been tv commercials about it too

As soon as he said I’d like to issue a cashiers check in US dollars, it screamed scam.
