Experience Nissan up here in Orillia can get me anything, if its anything from japan I just bring him the part number and he can get it.
Like my brand new kouki tail light set that is coming new from a dealer in Japan.
they got me a fender and a rear quarter panel and a bunch of other stuff.
If you guys need a quote on something I can get their number for you. Really good parts department.
Okay Seth, I hear what your saying about not wanting to be too low. If you’re running Eibach Pro-kit spring you will not be too low since they barely lower the car at all. The Sportline’s are a little bit more aggresive and are really the minimum drop you should consider if you’re looking for the “sporty” look. The problem with your choice of dampers is that the GR2’s are supposed to be high quality stock replacement. Which is fine and nice except you are not running stock springs anymore. The increased spring rate of the Eibachs requires an increase in damping to control the stiffer spring. I would suggest the Tokico Blues as the cheapest solution. If you had the money KYB AGX are adjustable and offer a firm controled ride. They would be a huge upgrade over the GR2’s.
As for coilovers, there are several “Street” kits made for our cars. The Tein Flex is a very nice option and is still daily driver friendly. The Flex would be a tiny bit stiffer than the sportlines but it has a nicer ride due to a higher end damper. Now the nice thing about coilovers is that if one were so inclined they could use the adjustment feature to raise the car to near stock ride height.
yea id love to know the prices on some of these bits…

What parts you looking to order?
[quote=seth]I’ll be honest I have no interest in coilovers for my car. I have no interest in lowering it anymore in my town then what the sportline springs are going to give me. the ride is nice and those struts are brand new. If I do go lower in my town I will rub every now and again. Perhaps when the rest of the car is done I will change that but for now the strut/lowering spring will do.

What I did before getting the kyb struts was to call down to kyb and explain what I was going to be doing. They said that the lowering springs will work fine with the struts.
They are car specific but they do not depend so much on the ride height because the same struts are the same for a few different cars.
They told me that they would not be the best choice for solo racing or anything but then that is not what I wanted to do. For havin some fun with the car the dampening rate with the springs will do fine.
When the rest of the car is done I will prolly go for tein coils but for now and driving around on roads that are as bad as here I am going to stick with this idea.
The car will have a sporty stance to it, and I do understand by no means will the car look slammed.
As for the cost for some of these parts from the dealer, you would be suprised. Now our preceptions of what is expensive might be different. I found the prices to be reasonable. If you want to know the cost on a certain part I can give you a ball park on what I paid.
My kouki tail lights new from nissan are 934 plus tax. List price from Nissan is 1100 plus tax.

I figured you would save me the long distance call and time, but myself and most people here would like to know the price of the trunk well pictured.
I will call up today and get you the price on one of those I believe it was under 200 bucks
Seth, since you have the whole section cut out of the car I would suggest doing a full seam weld on the replacement rather than a simple spot weld. You might as well since it won’t take that much longer and it will add a little bit of stiffness to the unibody.
or you can use one of many different bonding agents…
im not a pro-star bond0r… so I wouldn’t know which to use exactly.
try TM or rotorkami.

Gracias, senor.
Get us a part number as well. For $200 it’s a great investment.
Well the part number for that spare wheel well is 7451442F30.
So now for the fun part… $297.82 is the price on that part from Nissan for anyone that walks into the dealership.
Finished painting the diff the other day…
I was curious if I could get rid of the wires that are hanging out of the diff. Anyone have any idea?
The cover is not actually dull its just the lighting of the pic.
wires = ABS sensor (rear).
oh, I know what they are. I got this out of a 93 coupe with abs, its just that I don’t have abs and I don’t want a random wire just sitting there.
where to find this por-15?
your local napa should have it, the one in brace bridge did. (where I got mine).
I’m going with Andy on this one. GR2’s are the kind of shock that people give away.
Then why cant i find any?
yeah I am with you on that one…
