ok well first off some history. stumbled across this 72 chevelle malibu through panchos pops who heard it was for sale. some dude needed cash fast and i picked it up for 800 bucks. got her home and that eveing ripped her apart. as john melner once said “its a field car”. since im broke for the most part its not getting a full interior just some buckets and a floor shifter and the dash is complete and its gonna lok pretty bare but motor wise i got ahold of a 454 and built it up. had the stock heads reworked and new seats and valves, and springs, 1.7 ratio rockers, summit rods, and summit cam, edelbrock rpm airgap, stock ss with flapper hood. th350 tranny. stock ten bolt but am gonna jam some 455s and locker in it. gonna go with a sweet ignition deal from summit. throw in a pair of bucket seats i picked up for 50 bucks and need some new fenders. both right and left. yeah its not quite finished but hopefully itll run pretty damn well, ive got some mmore plans for it at the end of the season, i just wanna get it out for this season and pull her apart. deffinetly wanna boost it. 177 ci blower. yeahh waiting on some money… damn.
oh yeah pictures will be up soon, i gotta find my USB cable.
hey who cares what it looks like if you’re building it for speed. Sounds like a cool project, good luck with it!
x2 Sounds like a nice project. You should check with bgblockelcamino on here he might still have some big block stuff laying around the shop.
only BBC stuff I have left is currently bolted to my 461 ci BBC that is pictured below…
Big Block Chevy FTW (pewter hates 'em, though).
Good luck with the project.
still have soft spot for big blocks. one day i will get another one. hopefully in a jet boat lol.
haha thanks fellas, its coming along. i couldnt turn down the car for 800 dollars and the dude was happy to sell it to me and after i left and before i came back to pick it up i guess there were offers up too 1500 bucks for it. so oh well just gotta find the money now hah. but thanks fellas. ill update some more as time goes on.

thanks guys, im gonna search hard for my usb cable tonight when i get home. i need some pics
it is ongoing joke. i have been dealing with pig blocks for long time now. still prefer them over a small block or 383 anyday. still cheaper and make a lot more power
deffinetly man. hah. id rather have anything other than a 383. sad to say my best buds 86 monte carlo has one haha.
383 runs great. but for how much it cost to build might as well go big block.
go big or go home
big it TodD!!
