What kind of beef has 20 carbohydrates?! If its mighty taco i believe it, somehow they cram 10 into their taco salad.

On a side note here are the 0 carb bagels… 7 grams of carbohydrates and 7 grams of fiber. unfortunately they are sold out.

I have been peeing A LOT lately

I was super light headed this morning after slamming down 2 sausage patties for breakfast. My body just automatically expects carbs when I start eating lol.

I’ve lost 5 pounds worth of water weight though, so I guess that’s ok.

welcome. the sooner you accept that life sucks without carbs, the sooner you can move on.

I too feel like I pee more than humanly possible. Also I’ve noticed that its not clear like I would expect with the amount of water I take in, but has a healthy color to it, especially surprising at the gym.

Well, that’s because the water is a by-product of the ketosis process. I read about it last night. Something about the way your body burns off the excess glyagene (or w/e it is) in your system, it produces water as a by-product.

Drinking a ton of water is basically just adding to it.

IMO, life doesn’t suck THAT much without carbs. It just sucks to eat out. You have to be the weirdo taking your burger off the bun and eating it with a fork and knife. lol.

I am also not out to lose THAT much weight. I need to drop 20 at the MOST. This diet is about me kickstarting myself into a routine of finding a healthier overall way of eating delicious foods that wont make me gain.

I’m still doing 20-30 grams of carbs a day, at least. I don’t even want to count up the amount I was eating before. Seriously, Large value meal fries, burger bun, maybe some pasta for dinner, some potatoes or stuffing side dishes. I had to be up around 150-175 grams a day.

I think just by laying off certain foods, and substituting whole wheat/high fiber carbs, I will be able to maintain a healthy weight that I feel comfortable at.

I’m expecting a further “breakout” to the downside and then consolidation at the 140-145 level which is my natural weight.

I am back on the Low-Carb diet officially. Trying out CKD now that I have a gym membership as well. I can’t go full-time without carbs, but that 24 hours fri night to saturday night will help massively with the cravings.

I weighed in at 210 this week, my goal is to lose 30 pounds.

i did this since about january til june, had OK abs, i stopped in june, def was not eating “healthy” (timhortans breakfast sandwhich every morning), still have abs. not doing this shit ever again lol

Fuck keto. It’s probably great for bodybuilders looking to drop from 7% to 4% body fat. The rest of us are better eating a sustainably healthy diet, which includes enough carbs to have the energy to work out. Swing diets suck. Eat well all the time. You’ll live longer and feel better.

Of course, we get bombarded with carbs via HFCS since corn is cheaper to produce than it is to buy (thank you Nixon) so what Americans consider a low-carb diet is probably a normal-carb diet relative to what we’re evolved to eat.

yeah, it takes dedication, but the weekend carb up should definitely help ease my pain.

The biggest problem is that I am usually busy on the weekends so I always eat out and stuff. I know it’s not proper to stuff your face on weekends, I’ll try to control myself but at least I can have a few slices of pizza friday night, or go out to eat and have a sandwich or a side of fries or something.

I’ll definitely be checking back in here to let you guys know what my weight changes are.

Sadly, I am a very addictive eater. When I get stressed out, I can eat a TON of food. It’s one of my only good releases. I used to surf, snowboard, wakeboard a lot. Since the days of doing that on a daily basis have passed, I find myself gaining weight because I just like to eat. I love the taste of food.

I’ve tried the ‘sustainable’ diet. Turns out that for me, they are not sustainable at all. I usually just end up eating massive portion sizes of healthy foods. Either that or a sneak in snacks constantly.

Luckily, for now, I am not massively overweight. I feel I can still manage my weight where I am at. Hopefully with the gym membership and alternative diets, I can stay that way.

Right now I am 223 have been overing around 220 for the past year. This did help a bit but I feel like its catching up to me and may be causing some nastiness with my gallbladder. I guess i cant complain cause I was up around 310 a few years ago.

I’ve just been adding a bunch more protein 3x a day via whey isolate and cutting down on garbage 5-6 days a week and seeing great results the past 2 months with just the increased protein in my diet. just a scoop with some water… nothing fancy.

I’ve started taking fiber supplements though. I took 2 the other night and got a pretty good deuce out.I can feel one rumbling up now too.

I’m holding out for the eat and drink whatever you want and not gain weight pill. The more of a problem obesity becomes the more research money will keep being thrown at it.
