I picked up my 240 on May 21 and as of today she is ready to be my daily driver. I used my time with 2 cars to get some things done to her.
Here are some pics of what has been done and before and after shots.
First off I picked up and intake off E-Bay, it came with everything (all i really wanted was the polished piping)
Then fixed some bubbling rust on my a-pillar (i believe that is what it is called) I do not have a pic of it so here ia a Paint Shop edit

When i got the “a-pillar” fixed I had them sand the top and paint it black aswell
Then i got the windows tinted.

Next i needed to get the brakes done so i got my hands on brand new Brembo X-drilled rotors all around, “performance” pads in the rear, and cermics pads up front for 330, can’t go wrong…
Last night I pulled the stock radio and put in the deck I had in my neon This pic belongs to Solarian, I did not get a chance to take a pic, but i have the exact same deck. Solarian let me know if you would like me to take it down

Next i need to do my exhaust, but i am picky. I want to do 2.5" stainless steel catback but i want something super quiet… if anyone knows a place or person where i can get a catback like stated above please let me know.
I don’t mind you using the pic at all The car looks nice, I’m a huge fan of the black roof on different base colour. If I had to change my car’s colour (all black atm), I’d do white with black roof and pillars, but your red looks very nice as well. Tints look great too, where’d you get them done and how much were they? I need tints real bad…
I’ve only been driving it on weekends, must get used to rear wheel drive before i learn to drift. Also need to save money up to replace the potential parts i will break while learning to drift… maybe next year i’ll try
Thanks! I got the tints done at Tint King in Mississauga, cost me $230 total but they are the UV/Scratch/bubble resistant, also they won’t discolour and have lifetime warranty. They are the A B C ones in the Tint King display. Front driver and pass. are A and rears are B. Don’t know the tint percentage
My car is red too and I was thinking of painting the roof black as well but I haven’t gotten around to it. For sure it looks nicer with the black roof.
Do they remove tints too? My rear window needs to be redone because the damn thing blurs EVERYTHING out the back window. Looking in my rear view mirror i cant tell another 240 from a fucking buick, all i see is 2 lights and a mass in the middle, every car looks like that.

aw what kind of attitude is that! Get in debt!!! :lol:
I have the same attitude lol… My car isn’t even fully repaired. I don’t believe in debt and credit, that’s all. But next paycheck I’ll hit that place up for tints. I definitely want quality on the car.

Save your money for the turbo fund
IT’s easy to peel off old tint as well. Soak the tint in pure ammonia in the sun (cover with a bag or something so it doesn’t just evaporate). The glue will dissolve and you can just carefully slowly peel it off with nothing left behind.
