So about 6 months ago I decided to install my new clutch. I went to CND tire and bought a few bttls of their motomaster synth gear oil. Put the bag in the trunk and set of the the shop. Upon opening my trunk to get oil I was welcomed by 1 bottle sitting there and one who had leaked its oil all over my trunk. If you have smelt gear oil you know how nice that is.
I returned to the CND tire and said whats the deal I didnt even open it ect, the store manager took a look at the bottle and did say the safty seal inside must had been defective. I said I wanted to be compensated for the damage and so my 6 month of calling shell, getting the run around, being offered gas coupons instead of money untill today. Finally they have given up and on Feb 13th cut me a check for nearly $700 the price to buy S14 trunk carpet new from Nissan. I am happy I finally got what I deserved and just wanted to use this to show others that if you stand up for yourself you will eventualy get what you deserve.
Just for people who are curious how the trunk carpet could be 700 dollars. All you S14 owners out there that bottom peice that lays in the trunk…350 dollars new by itself lol. I will be purchasing a S14 trunk carpet to replace mine but I belive that I will go the used route lol.

lol nice score. and yes benson, companies like motomaster just purchase the products off of companys that have refinerys like shell, petro canada etc. and then stick their own labels on, and sometimes their own mix of beneficial chemicals/detergants.

Basicly had to remove the carpet from my trunk for now. I will be happy to cash that check cause I am poor right now and need to do a few things to my car while its stored. I am as surprised as you guys are that I got anything.
