I prefer Windows based systems but the only thing I use my computer for is gaming.
I have the iphone 4 and I like how nicely the sync works when you’re using apple’s software.
Aside from that I’m just going to use it for writing papers and browsing the web. I’ll hook the Lenovo up to my monitor that my Toshitta is currently hooked up to now and keep the Satellite as a turbo backup I guess.
Macbook Pro 15" ftw
I am a PC and Windows 7 is for me.

Why the FUCK was your laptop on your roof you goon
That’s pretty funny actually.
People forget that a Mac doesn’t always have to be a mac and a PC can become a mac.
Well the nice thing now with Macs using Intel hardware is that you can dual boot on a mac, you can run windows natively on it without the use of emulation software within Mac itself and use bootcamp to load Windows on its own parition.
With PC’s its still a little more difficult, OSx only supports certain hardware so you somewhat have to build a PC around those hardware requirements if you want to run OSx on it. Theres quite a few websites out there that list hardware that will run on OSx without issue.
The thing I will say to I do love about OSx and Mac’s in general is even if they are old they still run like the day you took them out of the box. I guess for some people thats the good tradeoff to spending ~1000 on a Mac vs spending ~600 on a windows based laptop. You may only get 3-4-5 years out of that laptop before you feel you need to get something a little quicker, where as with a mac theres still people using Powerbook G4’s and are perfectly fine with it, shit I used one for quite awhile and was impressed with how smooth it ran overall. The fact that you can get away, at least for the time being years without really doing any sort of maitnence on a mac and that it will just work as good as the day you got it is quite impressive. That’s more the OS then anything else, but still its very nice.
Unfortunately OSx doesnt have all the functionality I need, and by the time it does, its goign to come to a point like I said earlier… that its not going to be any better then windows, by that point its just going to be user preference to the GUI’s between the two OSes
its all a trade off, that simple human beings just cannot understand
you can only have two extremes:
[ maximum security / less ability / less features / easier use]
vs
[maximum freedom / maximum ability and features / complicated use]
THATS IT, thats how everything works, from software, to hardware to the way you think about shit…
its either easy to use because its already guided for you, or its harder to use but endless possibilities
that same shit applies to everything outside of computers too, even with your life… and your career and your fatass bitch wife
So dumb people please proceed to apple.
