My Lenovo sporting the latest Windows 7 OS fell from the roof of my house yesterday and shattered all over the ground. I must have ran over some glass from the screen because the rear tire on my vehicle no longer holds air. Anyway, I am going to buy a Macbook Pro and would like to hear your opinions on the latest OS’s from Mac and Microhard.

I just put a BN screen in my HP lastnight. Took me fucking 3 hours. I had the entire laptop apart. Works great now. I love it.

and replace your fuckin’ LCD if thats all it needs, its cheap and easy. It only takes me about 20min max to do just about any LCD, so if you’re a pussy just hit me up and I’ll do it for you.

i personally like Win7 but id love to have a Macbook Pro. they are just too expensive for me… i have only heard good things from a few people that have them tho.

I love my Mac and didnt care what it cost, hate my sisters Dell POS with Windows. I dont think its 7, so i cant debate on that whole end of the discussion, but just the ease and operation of my Macbook is awesome. It did take a little while to get use to, but it was worth it.
If I wanted something I have no control over, and just works, I would get a MAC. I love them. I just think they are just too expensive.
If you want something that you can fuck with and enjoy with just about every option out there, get a PC. And have the possibility of fixing it yourself if something does go wrong.
I want a MAC mini. Just to have one and hook it to my TV. 
I have a 27" iMac/iPad/iPod and other Apple sauce horseshit.
I use Windows 7 at work and I like what they have done with it in comparison to Windows XP. The Mac OS takes a little getting used to at first, but its tits once you get it down. One thing I can say about Apple is the build quality, my keyboard is made from aluminum as is the iMac and even the Apple Magic Mouse, it seems like a well made, durable product and I am very happy with it so far.

i have a 2 year old macbook pro and it still runs as fast as the day i bought it and has only crashed a total of 2 or 3 times. cant say that about any of my previous dells
I went threw 3 HP laptops within 3 years. All of them sucked. My brother bought a macbook and I used it a few times and fell in love. I bought a macbook pro and its far better then any of those HP’s and even my mothers dell. Hell my father hated his HP so much and all he used it for was browsing the internet so he got rid of it and bought an iPad 2
HP is garbage. My buddy has a brand new one, 4gb ram, not sure processor off top of my head, its atleast dual core… my old ass Alienware with 1.7 dualcore 2gb ram, smokes it at everything. Especially running Photoshop CS5 flawlessly. Macs are for fanbois.

No windows 7 experience here, but I have a 24" iMac from 2008. Works almost the same as they day I bought it. No antivirus bullshit, tons of free software. Never crashed resulting in data loss. Whenever I have had a software issue, that I can’t solve on the interblog, I have just stopped by the apple store, and someone there always can help out. Only downside is the keys are white, so if I come home from work and start clicking away, it wrecks the keys.
It is expensive, but its what real industrial design costs IMO.
Mac is Basically an overpriced midrange laptop hardware wise with a pretty Case and OSx installed. I don’t hate on Mac’s only because of the OS, I rag on them because now a days its intel hardware on teh inside at a premium price to have an Apple on the case.
OSx is great in its core functionality, takes some getting used to if you don’t have any real experience with it, but if all you do is browse porn/shift etc its fine, will also do light gaming with the very few games that are Mac OS compatible.
I plan on getting a Macbook in the near future for my wife to use and myself when were just on the couch and want to use the computer, refuse to game on a laptop so thats not an issue, won’t be paying for a macbook pro though, will be getting a plain jane macbook
when Mac’s get popular enough to support the latest games/software and allow people to customize rigs with it, that will be the day that it will simply be user prefrence and not have any sort of “advantage” compared to a Windows/Linux machine because right now the only big thing people always seem to bring up is viruses, the more people that move to mac, the more people are goign to write viruses for it, in which case my client base at work jsut doubled
I like the “flash” OSx has, but I prefer windows functionality/layout more so then OSx

no long pc debates for me anymore, but i wanna say im pretty experienced with both and would go with win7 overall , it needs some tweaks out the box to work to my likings, that stupid task bar grouping can go to hell right away.
i record on windows 7 too and its awesome, really professional OS in comparison.
mac is cool, but they arent as cool as they are made out to be, idk i feel like mac owners are like saab / volvo owners…
i own a macbook pro and an imac…never will own another pc. plane and simple. end of story.
i guess it depends on what kind of user you are, i feel like people who arent nerdy are just better off on apple products all together, “it just works” or whatever they say about apple’s
