I’ve been a Windows user and a huge fan of AMD for well over a decade now and I have been a very happy customer. I have been building my own PC’s for just as long. I am not sure what it is but lately I have been getting the itch to make the change over to Mac/Intel. Not because I am unhappy with the performance of my PC or AMD processors. I really can’t place why I want to do it. I really like the looks of the new iMac 27" with a core i7…very tempting.
I know the debate between windows and Apple always comes up on here often but why not start another.
That being said, I have a VERY limited experience with any Mac OS other then iOS.
I have a macbook for the last 3 years and I absolutley love the thing . By far would buy another one over a pc . Maguire has one as well and pretty sure he would say the same. Its always been fast with all the school shit I have saved on it as well as porn .
nah but im more curious to hear why you are a fanboy of AMD over intel so hardbody ? I personally dont giveashitabouteitherone but just wanna know. Im guessing its the same reason why you buy cannon and not nikon… if so thats understandable
I am actually not against Intel whatsoever. I can admit that they currently produce the worlds fastest consumer processors without a doubt and if I were in the market for a new Windows based laptop it would without a doubt be an HP ENVY with an i7 processor.
My user name was created over tens years ago when I first got in the game and when AMD and Intel were in the race to 1GHz (AMD won). I would however still use AMD processors in my desktop builds because just like Canon, I am brand loyal. Not because of superiority (which I can clearly admit). That and the price to performance ratio on the AMD black line is excellent. 1100T 6 core would be my choice (as of right now anyway).
ive been itching to buy a macbook pro or the 20+" for a while, i just cant justify spending a premium when i can buy something, custom made for what i want to do with it, for half the price.
Oh I know man, I am the same way. I can build pretty much the most top of the line AMD based system from scratch for $800 custom tailored how I want it. I really can’t place why I want one, just do. I also wouldn’t be completely ditching my current hardware/Windows.
thats the whole thing ! you can boot apple software on a “pc” but for some reason that doesnt sound so appealing… thats proof that maybe its not the operating system software , but maybe just apple’s hypnotic abilities to make you think their computer case is worth it
Honestly, it’s the screen of the iMac 27" that’s really drawing me in, lol. Of course I know all about Hackintosh-ing a PC…agian I don’t know why I really want one. Maybe I love debt?
