Cages are needed for 7.5 in the 8th and 11.5 in the 1/4. He’s gonna need about 400-425 flywheelhp and a fairly light car. I’m not sure of the potential of that particular motor, but good luck anyways.
cool, thx for the pics good luck!
At least you have room for another motor in front of that one. lol.
It’s going to suck if this car is slower than stock.
Atleast the motor’s in… I think
I don’t understand why you don’t just put the turbo SHO motor in this…then you can properly setup the car to launch.
SHO motor with :tspry: = :tif:
^^wow. I must have skipped the part where he said he was goonna :tspry:
Turbo FTW.
Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
Much like putting a faggy sticker like " I <3 my Honda" on your BMW:highfive:
Kevin did that and I found it ironic so I left it.
Didnt you expect your SHO to put down 400ish and it made a bit more than half of that? I dont see the logic of any of this, but  to being different.
the only place that a sho motor should go into is the back of a festiva. end of story
I get first run against this thing
I say H/C/I LS1 and spray it, give it a reason for that cage
I like interesting swaps, and I give you credit for that.
based on your last couple of cars though, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessh. GL.
I’ll be interested to see if the cage was a worthwhile investment.
the interesting thing here is there is no ford involved… the yamaha motor is great and has so much potential on boost.
hes gonna whack the motor, not blow on it. :tif:
FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
the spray is just until I can get the money to finish the built engine that will be going in. My goal is to have it plumed for a 150 shot while i’m kicking around in it with the stock engine. I may bump it up to a 175 a bit later on depending on how things go. Once the engine is ready there will be a little bit of boost and a 12 bolt rear end going in.
With the stock SHO engine in this I think it will only be a little bit quicker than a stock V6 camaro. with the ported heads and intake and a good exhaust they typically put a bit over 200 to the wheels, but the light car and right wheel drive should put it in mid 14’s on motor then what ever the nitrous gets me will be up to the SHO gods to decide.
if it’s anything like your other SHO it will be ghetto as fuck
if my getto as fuck SHO can run 12’s consistantly then hopefully I can put that roll cage to good use in this project.
^^ to all these people who are actually enthusiast.^^
Even if the project doesn’t satisfy everyone on here, nobody needs to bash/wish death upon anyone for a unique build. I think it will be a fun unique project, and the N/A motor is just for testing while he build the turbo motor for tons of boost. The car should be plenty fast, and huge  for getting that Yamaha motor out of a Taurus.
nice work  to pmp
I just really wish he would build a shogun.
If they were easier I would consider it
