What part of the creek was that? I was there today to scope it out, right by the large parking lot and walking bridge off the blvd. Water level seemed high and murky.
Any other suggestions??? I was up there for two hours right at dusk and didn’t even get a nibble
just went where the old bar “the pier” used to be if you get on the other side of the wihite fence its loded with smallies.

they have a parking lot with tons of room i was there saterday when the weather was great and no one was there it was pretty nice
Ive been @ dunkirk pier and buffalo small boat harbor about 6 times total. i have had no luck so far this season though
Went to Ellicott Creek Park this past saturday for a bit, tried the inlet there, no bites, went on the other side of the bridge (creekside drive I believe) and caught a smallmouth, 4 perch, 3 sunnies, a rock bass and a goby. All withing 4 feet of the shore, right where the rocks drop off. Used worms.
Yeah there’s a parking lot for a dozen cars or so. About a mile or so walk from the parking lot to where he’s talking about. Walk toward downtown from the lot. I’ve never fished there but I used to ride my bike down there or take the dog.

Have you tried the access site right down the road from Dunkirk pier by the power plant? Warm water is pushed out into the lake and fish congregate there. Usually pretty crowded though.

I got my license already but haven’t had a chance to go between rain and golf. Im planning on going to ellicott creek after work tomorrow or Wednesday if it doesn’t rain…never caught anything there besides carp though.
Always good luck at the boat launch on Ontario st too.

Went to Sturgeons Point last weekend got a good sized small mouth but there is no fishing in the harbor which sucks.

I’ve been to Devil’s hole the past months. Using minnows caught a lots of silver bass, small mouth bass. Casting also got many bites.
Nice! Caught a cpl rock bass, 1 small trout and about 30 small mouth last weekend on the river…also w/minnow
I usually fish the canal for 20-25+lb Carp and 10-15lb channel cats. I have no fun pulling in a 3lb bass lol…

Genesse river is also a great place to fish seeing as they just dumped $20,000 worth of bass into the damn thing lol
