Should i hire a lawyer? [another school zone speeder]

got caught doing 37 in a 20 school zone. i think this one is gonna hurt. i have a lawyer that will charge me 200 bucks to do the speeding ticket. opinions?

I’m def guilty of some nice speeding tickets but I NEVER speed through school zones, ever. WTF, I hope they throw the book at you and the other guy and to be honest I would be quite embarassed making a thread like this in public. You’re basically admitting you are a douche bag.

Does this lawyer also provide “immigration assistance”? Seriously though, your probably screwed without a good lawyer.

Depends on the time, since when do cops do speed traps in school zone? Did he have a radar gun?

Usually your lawyer will drop it to a lesser charge and you will pay $200-250 for something stupid; but your lawyer’s price seems shady should be $500~.

Ws does speed traps on potters rd for the school there.

I live near Winchester and see douches speeding passed the school all the time and I rarely see any cops posted in that area which they should.

I see more WS cops on harlem near clinton than near the school… They sit right on harlem road and pick people off near the aldi’s.

A West Seneca Crossing guard got hit on OP rd. near Allendale during the first week of classes. WS is out in force this year.

37 isn’t that bad, school zone or not. I’ve gotten 10, 15, 19, 21, 27, 27, and 35 over tickets and have never gotten worse than 3 points. The 21 and one of the 27’s I got at the exact same time by two cops on the same road that were sitting a rock skip away.

While you were close to double the speed limit you were still under 40mph, you’re looked at as a much bigger douche when you are doing double the speed in a 55 or 65 zone. Got pulled by a federal agent once going 100mph, he couldn’t do anything, nice enough guy too, told me that he has a Z28 and knows how it is but I gotta slow down.

I’d rather them do radar in school zones then the highway :slight_smile: I’ve been pretty good controlling my right foot lately however.
