Hey Im not sure if anyone still remembers, but my car was crashed sometime last year. IT was a 1992 S13 FB LE super HICAS. Black, grey leather, power windows, locks etc.
It got into a pretty nasty rear end collision with a fence (I wasnt driving), and the entire hatch and the rear quarter panel is dented in. My Apexi N1 looks to be pretty dented in as well. The front of the car also got scraped while it was spinning. The hood is a little curled in, and one of my fenders is dented. Other than that, everything else is still intact.
Im wondering if its better to fix it and then sell it, or to just part her out. I have an Injen Short Ram Intake, Momo steering wheel, momo shifter, grey leather seats etc.
I bought the car for $5000, and I havnt gotten an estimate for fixing it, but Im sure it’ll be expensive. Now what Im wondering is, will I earn more selling it (parting it out) only problem with that is, I do not know how much everything is worth or how to take a lot of the stuff off. Or should I just fix it, and then sell the car.
P.S. This is really important, how much would the transmission sell for? The engine has roughly 220 000kms on it, and when I bought it at about 210 000km.
Thanks, and Im not sure if this is the best question to post, hopefully I wont have any biased answers because people want parts. Just give me an honest answer as to whether I should fix it or sell it.
