no for one reason…i know ur financial situation more than most…just drive the 95 for a few more years and save some cash
regardless if his situation is good or bad, this is a pretty rude thing to post on the internet
i just valeted a black m3 smg like 5 mins ago = hot
just drove one - didnt really notice that…
one guy at delta used to bring his SMG M3 in all the time it was hot but i would have preferred the 6spd…he spun out at Auto-X last yr and fucked a wheel
I say dooo it!™ I was in the same boat when I bought my car. Deal to good to pass up but it was not stick, oh-well I like my ability to shift from the steering wheel with the tiptronic anyway. Padle shift FTW.
LOL…my financial situation??? what financial situation… i just paid off my car… my personal loan and a few bills i had. believe me… i actually do have money again
as for the car… yes i can afford it. but i just don’t know if i want an SMG…this is why wanted opinions
meh…
you seem to be on the fence about it… color’s hot, i don’t see too many e46 M’s in that shade. i dunno. if you want stick, hold out and wait, it’ll come along…
data to prove?

read then gudge
When it all comes down to it, I’d rather own an M5.
If you are set on an E46, wait 6-12 months. Once the new M3 comes out, the current generation will drop resale value incredibly fast (it’s already starting)
rofl your guess at wats real is completely wrong
SMG is nice, i like it. I think the nicest thing is being able to concentrate on tight turns while keeping both hands on the wheel.
The other thing you may wanna consider is that in 6 months the e46 ///M will be dated… then you’ll just wish you had an e92 instead.
this coming from the same person who has to factor out the cost of gas to go somewhere versus the value of actually being there?
^^ lol…tool
How many of you have actually driven an SMG? If you did, did you understand all of the settings on it, and have it set to full sport mode? Did you mess around with launch control?
To me, SMG > *… Lightning fast shifts, great launches, the convenience of an automatic when you are in traffic, never worrying about breaking your box, etc. To me Faster + More Reliable + More versatile = Better.
I have driven an SMG, and to me, its the ultimate solution for a daily driven sports car.
all in all… i am gonna test drive…see if i can work #'s and we will see
no lets get it right who paid ur car off…and who u have to pay back…Skunky wait and then buy…trust me…it happens all the time on this board people buy a car then 1yr later they have to sell cause they want a house or cant afford the payments and want to get out of it…
