what manifold is it, and whats the lowest boost setting that you want
alot of people are popping up on h-t etc with 35r powered cars and trying to get 8-10psi of boost for the street… well it wont happen unless you have a 60mm gate or you have a manifold with the waste gate having priority.
you want the dumptube to have very few bends and to have it routed under the oil pan so that the wg gases do not get sucked up into the intake
take a pic of exactly where your dumptube will end up and i could give you my opinion on it
I’m running a 38mm gate and hold 8psi pretty well on a 35R… 2.6L tho.
ya, theres a big difference with how much “flow” you have at 8psi compared to how much “flow” a honda will flow at 8 psi … which means your gate is doing less work than his would to controll the exhaust gases

what wg spring do you have? do you plan on running race gas or just pump gas for now?
it might hold 10-11psi depending on a couple of factors and if i were you id have a couple small springs for it just incase it creeps like mine did
i had a 4lb spring creep to 13psi
my friend had a 10lb spring creep to 17 psi
.5 bar wastegate spring
that should be fine, you might creep or you might not it all depends on how well your system is flowing, i just know that alot of people with top mounts have problems creeping and generally have to update to a 60mm in order to fix the problem

Question - Do I need a restrictor with this turbo? I was going to run one but then I read they have them built in, then read you don’t need one unless the oil pressure is over 40psi (which a Honda is) … Just like to be sure. Plus Peak boost sold me a fitting with a inverted flare with a 90* bend that works so clean and Id like to use it.
I am trying to find a fitting for the front water port of the turbo but haven’t had any luck. I need a -6an to -6 hose 90* with one side longer then the other. I’m trying to get the hose away from the turbo… Anyone know where I can find this?

hmm… so you are looking for a 90deg fitting that is longer at the flange side… and regular at the hose side?? What about just using a 45 deg fitting? Looks like there might be room :shrug:
