Most likely will be… Going to cost me 1,000 bucks when its all said and done.

my current location is about an hour from him, lmk if you get it done and i will meet up with ya down there
I’ll vouch for John also, I’ve been to the shop numerous times. He does great work and does anything he can to help you out to get your car done and stay within your price range. Great guy to deal with, he’s the only person I’d recommend.
PM Muckman and ask him how Rick at BTF did on his GSR. He got a great tune for $450. Just sayin.
Im totally not saying any one of these guys is better, or cheaper or whatever than the other. Just stating what I know. At the end of hte day you gota use who you feel comfortable with and can afford etc
Dan
ya i talk to him quite often via aim and no complaints, i wasnt stating he was bad just stating who i had already recommended
really with how much money is in these cars a tune should be the last thing you cheap out on or worry about how far away etc
We are on the same page. I couldnt agree more.
Dan
That’s why the decision is so hard.
J-K made 650hp on my motor that was down like 3 cylinders lol, and he ran like a 10.3 at 90000mph.
and it still didnt blow up!!! lol
i have no personal experience tho, other than buying a boost controller from him lol
Got the relays wired up and made sure both fuel pumps are working. I’m going to get some gas in the tank and check the system for leaks. Also got the fan wired up and the headlights going. Something strange is going on, the blinkers blink when the lights are off but not when they are on? 4 ways work, high beam, low beam, markers all work. I haven’t checked the break lights yet. I didn’t install the dome light nor did I install the door switches so I’m not sure yet what that might cause?
When I turn the key to “on” there is no beeping, I don’t know what the beeping was before but its not beeping anymore? Probably seatbelt off, door open or lights on with car off?
The SRS light is on, there is nothing left of that system so should I just leave that plug out of the cluster or take the bulb out?
Debating on hooking up the reveres lights and a horn. Could hook them up with the same momentary switch? That would kill two birds right… for inspection.
I should be able to dump some oil in it and fire it up… just need to install the oil pressure gauge first.
Did you ever get the wg fitting parts? I totally forgot to look for the sizes / part numbers…
Dan
No Im just going to hook it up with barb fittings and hose for now.
9/10 times weird issues like that are caused by a ground or seven not hooked up.
and yes, hook reverse and horn up correctly, you never know.
Dumped some fuel in it, turned on the pumps… wow no leaks!
Haven’t gotten the hood to latch yet, its making me crazy
Usually when you have the keys in the car with the engine off and you open the door, the beeping turns on. So when the door opens, the door switch grounds the beeper. Thats how it is on my crx, idk if its the same for your car but i would imagine so.
So the beeping is telling you not to forget the key… might have to hook the one door switch back up. Thanks

did you start it up yet?
yes, the only other thing i can think of is the stock seat belt sets off the beeping while the car is on and someone takes their seatbelt off. but you more than likely arnt running stock belts with seats and the wire that plugs into the seats haha
NO!!! this car was perfect until i saw the ricer flip switch!!!
