500hp on pump
Awesome news
Congrats man, that’s awesome to see it’s finally done. Can’t wait to see some numbers out of it. Better figure out what’s up with your speedo also.
how much boost are you planing on putting through it?
I could live with that!
Thanks
I see that… But its the leased used gauge I have
My gauge only reads to 20psi
 man. Finally some light at the end.
Im sure there will be more issues to sort through, but having a tuning appt is a big step ahead. Good luck!
Dan
did you ever think about running e-85?
True…going to try getting some miles on it this week, and make sure all is well.
Sure, just dont know anything about it or where Id get it down here. Maybe later on.
ahhh, well if your getting tuned where I think, well if your fuel system can handle it you can always get some e-85 across the street and get tunes on both 93 and e85 and then wait for it to come your way
I will ask John what he thinks. So here’s a noob question. How will my car know what fuel its running on, or are you saying id get two different tunes?
Two different maps.
You will tell it what fuel you are runnning. So you will need to flash in a E85 tune when you are running it.
What injectors do you have?
Dan
Injector Dynamics 1000cc’s
Ok I’m getting Neptune so that shouldn’t be an issue! I guess I knew that…
Same as my buddy Brian. He made 500+ whp on Ricks Land and Sea dyno on E85 with them. Unfortunately he doesnt know how close to limit he is on them since his data logging was broken until just recentely (some wierd software bug). My guess is hes pushing them past 80% duty cycle…
Dan
what pump/pumps do you have
in order to run e85 you will need a good regulator (up to 100psi capable like aeromotive, no aem etc) and you will also need 2 pumps like a walbro and an inline bosch
also with neptune all you would have to do is switch maps when the gas is switched, so basically drain/run out of 93 and then put in e85, and same for the other way around
with your turbo/engine setup 600 on e85 (pump gas) wouldnt be a problem if you had the fueling
if not 93 octane and 500 all day long
btw any way you can update your first post at the bottom and list the current setup?
To be honest if the car makes 300 and is fun to drive I will be happy. I know it will make more but so what if I cant get it to the ground. Had to buy a new clutch for the WRX so slicks are on hold this year.
I see the ID2200cc are 100 bucks cheaper, why is that? Supply and demand?
I will work on that Sir!
I do have the Fuelab 53502-G… 90-125psi. the Walbro in the tank and the 044 inline!
awesome check out the differences in the post that i just made
Depending on time and cost I will defiantly get the E85 Tune!
Got the car back from getting the exhaust finished up. Guy did a good job. Made and appointment to get an alignment Saturday morning. Then I’m going to change the oil and check the valve clearance once more before it hits the dyno on Tuesday!
how come you cut a big hole in the hood?
Is it just me or is this ridiculous? Grammar Nazi’s chime in please. I could be wrong.
But yeah, why did you cut a hole in the hood? Any plans for a evo style metal vent, or something similar?
To be more like my Evo!
no…
Cuz the hood wouldn’t latch. I tried putting spacers on the hinges and I also slotted the front latch and moved it up. Still was hitting. The spacer I added between the turbo and manifold came back to screw me. It was basically a temper tantrum but I like it.
No Grammar Nazi’s in my thread… that’s why I write as little as possible.
