i feel like that IC is going to hang way below the bumper. have u test fitted the bumper?
Yes, its only and inch or so.

Are you staying with the SI wheels?

Toda - Where is your oil cooler mounted?
uhh what oil cooler lol

i just use amsoil and given that i don’t enduro-race the thing, don’t expect to have any oil temp issues…shit i don’t even run an oil temp guage.

loose the msd, its seriously nothing but a headache.

out of curiosity, have you even sat in a boosted b-series hatch yet?

WTB pics of ur face when u first hit tuned boost in 3rd and 4th

this build is SO nice. you are really doing it the right way so hats off to you. keep it going! and what was that oil cooler kit and price??? i NEED one!
I test drove a WRX a few years ago. I think I only got into boost like one. So the answer is no. This car made me smile when it was a un-tuned NA car. Im sure the money and time put in will be well worth it.

lol

i dunno how u drive but if u don’t drive with 2hands on the wheel except to shift, then start making it a habit…1 handed boost driving = not safe

I like them. Ill be getting new rubber once its back on the road!
Yeah, they look good, I was just wondering. They will look even better with good rubber too.

Here’s a pic, pre turbo build, for those who are following this, obviously it’s the green one

i was going to put a oil cooler on but my oil temps dont go above 150 driving and 190 racing. i was going to buy that mfactory kit too

I removed the stock oil cooler so I wanted to have something to do some cooling. Between the larger oil pan and cooler Im worried about getting warmed up. I might have to add a thermostat down the road.

The mfactory is a real nice kit!

So after I busted a spindle I had to find and buy a new one. You have to really not know what you’re doing to bust one btw! I cleaned them up hammered out the old ball joins and pressed out the wheel bearings and hubs.

Then clean and wire wheeled the hubs, pressed in the new wheel studs

Next I have to press in the new ball joins and wheel bearings. Then the dust shield last the hub.

Here is what im working on for those seals. Im going to counter bore one side for the rubber and the other for the plastic pilot ring. This will clamp them in so I can drill em

lol

just wedge the injectors in there w/ some vasoline or something and clamp on the fuel rail, they’ll slide in and it’ll be fine, i don’t understand how ur having so much trouble w/ the grommets haha

i’m jealous, i need extended studs…sigh…i fucking hate cars

I tried wedging the injectors in and they tour? Ill try this and see if it works

I thought this stud project would only cost me the price of the studs. Then I figured out you have to press the hubs out of the spindle in order to press the studs out. Then I found out that you cant press out the hubs with out ruining the wheel bearings. Then since I never used a 60 tone press before nor disassembled spindles I pressed the hub and bearing together right through the snap ring that you cant see unless you press the hub out first. So this has been a 300 dollar party including 2 new lower ball joints, 2 new wheel bearings and a used spindle.

BTW I have a extra set of hubs 4sale!

^^ u can do mine for me as well
