Thanks - Ordered, 94 bucks shipped

Need some advice, I’m moving to Kansas… They don’t appear to have 93 octane. Do I buy new injectors and switch to E85 or just get retuned on 91? Either way I will have to get re tuned, its just a matter of if I want the extra expense of upgrading injectors. Thinking the FIC 1100cc would be a good fit? The other issue is 91 octane is everywhere but the E85 stations are about 45 minuets from where I will be living. (1 just makes me feel like I would be taking a step back.

Damn that sucks, I would go with just getting a retune for 91 for now, it would suck to have to drive 45 minutes to get gas…

As far as injectors for e85 you want at least 1000cc injectors. But with the prices being close I would go with 1600cc. You can always run different maps, have 2 tunes on evoscan. 1 for 91, and e85. You could get the 1100cc and put them in before 91 tune and have them for later.

2 tunes

edit: needs coilovers, not bigger injectors

I have a bill on its way from the machine shop, So I wont have the 500 for new injectors. I will have to just get tuned on 91 for now.

Turned 90,000 miles on the way to work today.

Bought the new STM over flow can but I guess it doesn’t work with power steering? I’ll give Emery a call tomarrow…

Are theses lines for cooling the power steering fluid?

So how bad is this? When I was taking the coils off one of the pieces came out… Can I buy just the one plug?
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa271/shrekb18/03%20EVO%20VIII/DSCN1269.jpg?t=1296174131

if you’re considering removing your P/S … i made a thread about removing it on evom. pretty much everyone said don’t do it lol

I would keep P/S on a DD, especially a Evo lol.

Did that come out one of the boots on the coil packs? If so they sell new boots for the coil packs.

If it came out one of the wires, then yeah you would need to get new wires.

yea dont get rid of the P/S. im pretty sure emery designed it around those lines. weird if he didnt!

looking good!

Yea I read your thread, thanks.

No I am keeping P/S… But I’m looking at trying to change up the cooler lines. Do I really need them? The issue is its a large loop from the pump to the steering rack back to the reservoir.

Just aggravates me that the add I bought the over flw can from didn’t say anything about P/S being in the way.

Yes it cam out of the boot. Got a part number? Price?

I’m looking into the Spoolin coil packs! But I cant find the $300…I do have a birthday coming up.

He said they loop the soft lines… I asked for a pic.

Got a few hrs in today…

Started getting everything around for a catch can setup.

Pulled the stock ports out, pretty neat that the one in the back is a check valve.

Even neater is the drain they added to the valve cover… I think?

So once I get a catch can what do I do about this?

So whats this? Why does the FPR have a sensor?

Bought the 1/8NPT plug to plug the evap hole in the head…

The part # for the boot is MD623073.

As far as the spoolin up COP, you can get the used set for $289+shipping. http://spoolinup.com/

With 6 month warranty, and their quality sets too. I’m prob gonna get one of these COP’s.

just turn that sensor off and throw it out lol. as for that port on the intake manifold i just capped it and put a clamp on it and i never had a problem

$303.99 shipped to me… like i said lol

I suck at that getting into the ECU stuff… Ill have my tuner do it.
