the same guy who tuned this tuned the evo in my other thread to 400hp on a completely stock motor, turbo, fuel, ect ct and i have a pic of the sheet there
edit: they may not have made 650 at 15 psi

he did say they hit 650 to date and are currently running 15psi which could be a ‘safe’ level since that was the first night they brought it out (foreign guys, so some things were hard to understand)
700 hp sr’s have been done before, especially when stroked
Ya, I wasn’t knocking the fact that it made 650hp, because that turbo is most likely capable of it, just the fact that it was done at 15 lbs.

I give both thumbs way up for this SR20. Yeh I think you misunderstood them, 650hp at 15psi on that big turbo, I donot think so!! On that turbo they should be running about 30psi.
When you stroke an SR20 can you still rev to 8k?
I’d imagine if the internals are up to par, I don’t see why not, the head will still flow it, and the valvetrain won’t fly apart, so if you’ve got everything balanced and good strong internals it should still go…
i remember sean (one of the builders) telling me the head spent 20 hours on the flow bench
