couldnt find it on nysdmv.com
when signing the back of your title to sell your car itasks for name address etc.
I recently moved and the title has my old address.
Do I put the old address to match the title so theres no mishaps at the DMV for the buyer?
Or will they look me up in the system, see my new address and see it doesnt match the paper work?
Any idea?
Thanks

the back of the title has to match the front or its not going on the road
the dmv is sticklers about that shit.
they barly look at the titles and reciepts, all they do is make sure the front and back matches
Negative. Either should work. I always just match them though.

ive had titles kicked back for this.
I’ve had them go through fine with the different address (including my current vehicle). Either way, just match them.
iv always put the address on the front, and iv also always had people do the same without problem
