Silly muslims

BTW www.godhatesshrimp.com Yup he hates shellfish too.

I want to sum up my arguments with this. The war in the middle east is on terror and other inhumane things, its not a religious war. it has nothing to do with christians, jews, muslims, or hindus. It about humanity. Its about life, and security.

When I see a christian go into a mall or any other crowded event with a bomb strapped to his chest and killing dozens of innocent people then I’ll agree with you… but until then…

and just for the record… I dont hate on muslims (did you know thaty chapelle is a muslim?)… well, atleast the non-violent ones. Buuut, when their religion says that killing me will get them to heaven (or wherever) I wont exactly turn my back to one

  1. The bible also says somehting about dieing while fighting enemies of God. Its a similar pricipal, dont make it sound like its just that one religion.

  2. Look at Ireland for Christian bombers.

  3. Chappelle should never ever be mentioned again in something as unrelated as this.

what are these “crusades” you speak of? i am unfarmiliar with this term

The cursades were holy wars, started by catholics to retake jerusalem…by force.

WTF, have you been living in a cave your whole life?!

no i was just being sarcastic :stuck_out_tongue:

Good job, you rock at teh sarchasm… :roll2:

  1. never have I been to church (not that I’ve been to church lately) that preached anything like that… honetsly, I dont know if it says that or not but I’ll take your word for it.

  2. point taken, I’ll give you that. (I guess you could even argue that hitler could be tied into it aswell)

  3. but it’s true :stuck_out_tongue: and we all know that chappelle is indeed, the man

still not gonna keep me off my toes though… I work/worked in the past with a few muslims too (one of the benefits to being in my industry is meeting people from all kinds of cultures) and two I currently work with are cool  the one, that left the company after 9/11 (probably just coincidence) was shady as hell though

exactly…PLEASE educate yourself before you post on a topic as politically charged as this one is. it all comes down to freedom of the press. the european press has every right to publish a political cartoon about the prophet mohammed. most muslims who are where the riots are taking place think this is being exaggerated by their people just so there is a reason to revolt against europe. those who are rioting are using the halocaust as an example saying “lets make a cartoon about the halocaust and show it to the jews”… IMO: those who are currently rioting were waiting for something like this to flare up their tempers. they’re taking a relatively small issue and using it to fuel a whole campaign of violence.

QFT

i don’t agree with ANY religion that says i have to die because i don’t belive their way. i’ve read the coran(sp?) it’s violent but just as violent as the bible.

we can’t bring past occurances into a religous argument (i.e. more than 100 years ago)

the crusades was a long long time ago ;et’s talk about today.

any people that can’t learn from mistakes of the past or past lessons i don’t agree with.

i have befriended a few Arabs (muslem and christian alike). there are more moderate and intlelgent muslems that know that killing someone because they don’t belive what you belive is wrong. what i don’t agree with is the un educated mindless following of certain belifs and putting religion as your cause. the KKK and muslem extrimests are on the same level.

Education to a 3rd world un educated people is the answer … look at America … were godless hethens because were so smart

Oh, quite the contrary–some christians HAVE killed homosexuals over what they think their “god” has told them. Does this mean all christians would like to kill homosexuals? Hm.

Hmmm.

Gosh I hope not! What I am trying to suggest is that if we look at every Muslim as a potential killer that we’re alienating them, and making it easier for them to convert to, well, the fanatical side. Because if people that don’t necessarily share the same religion as you don’t accept you, but it would be easy for people similar to you accept you, then what’s the alternative? Hanging around with some white folk that think you should be dead? Hm.

huh.

hm.

Gosh I don’t know what I would do!

And what I’m also trying to suggest here is that it’s fairly easy to conform, but very common for an individual to say, “Well, I wouldn’t if I was in the same situation.”

Whoa time out.

whoa.

I can’t believe I just read that. eep.

QALAT, Afghanistan - Police killed four people Wednesday as Afghans enraged over drawings of the Prophet Muhammad marched on a U.S. military base in a volatile southern province, directing their anger not against Europe but America. The U.S. base was targeted because the United States “is the leader of Europe and the leading infidel in the world,” said Sher Mohammed, a 40-year-old farmer who suffered a gunshot wound while taking part in the demonstration in the city of Qalat.

my point was … you can’t blame christians for the crusades. it happened how many years ago? …

the learning from past mistakes is more general … learn from then don’t keep wagging them in someone face

But that’s completely illogical.

Maybe we can apply the crusades ordeal to what the Muslims are doing now? Maybe many many years from now they won’t be so testy over a cartoon? It seems like certain people think a world without Muslims would be a more peaceful world. Simply not true (I’m pretty sure somebody will find a cartoon to be offended and be a vehicle of their anger…or a guy with white elephants to follow…), and if that’s so we should all just blow OURSELVES up and save everybody else the trouble. This isn’t really a true reflection of our Christian ideology. Well I’m not Christian, but I was brought up Catholic, and I never heard Jesus telling people to kill their enemies.

And I guess you’re right. We can’t make the analogy with the crusades because the vast majority of Christians only wear their religion over their hearts when it’s election time.

i saw the cartoons/comics/drawings for the first time earlier today in psych class that have been causing all the trouble…i think some of 'em are actually kinda funny…

especially the one with dead muslims lined up outside heavens gate, and the gatekeeper muslim saying “tell them to stop! we’re all out of virgins!”

This is an interesting conversation. Muslims are crazy fanatics that bomb the white man for no reason is what I’m getting from this. Have you looked at the situation in reverse? You’re a fun loving Christian in the great USofA minding your own business. Next thing you know you got bombs falling down on you, some guy kicking in your door and tossing all your stuff on the floor looking for something that you know you don’t have. For next couple years these people stay in your country when all you want is them to leave so you can get your life back. Turning on the news one day you find your Jesus running around with bombs strapped to his chest. Kind of different when you look at it that way isn’t it? Now let me get ready for all the flaming that’s coming

1.“Jesus doesn’t teach people to run around with bombs” Neither does Mohammed
2.“People protesting is a clear example that their really are evil” Let someone tell you that you can’t go to the White House and complain all day and oh man thats infrigment on your most basic right.
3.My regards go out to the guy who served overseas and lost his friend but blaming the Muslim population is like blaming every white guy for Timothy McVeigh.
Seriously just put your self in their position for a second.
