^ I blame Clinton and Janet Rino for him. It was a retaliation for Wako, which was completly not needed.
Im not against all of them, but im sorry, look at what is happening in the world and who is it that is alwyas blowing themselves to shit. the muslims. they are killing dozens of innocent women and children for no reason at all and people defend them.
This is an interesting conversation. Muslims are crazy fanatics that bomb the white man for no reason is what I’m getting from this. Have you looked at the situation in reverse? You’re a fun loving Christian in the great USofA minding your own business. Next thing you know you got bombs falling down on you, some guy kicking in your door and tossing all your stuff on the floor looking for something that you know you don’t have. For next couple years these people stay in your country when all you want is them to leave so you can get your life back.
yeah, because people strapping bombs to their chest is a new thing in the middle east.
besides, most of the people doing the attacking arent even from Iraq… as someone pointed it out earlier… just another reason to spread violence/hate amercia rhederic
No one is defending those people who kill innocent people. You are blaming an entire religion that outnumbers christians like 4:1. Its like someone said earlier you cant blame all chritians for the KKK.
Since so many of you want to compare “those violent christians” to muslims, let me ask you this, when was the last time you saw widespread, violent rioting over the various shows and movies that cast jesus and god in a bad light? (South Park, Drawn Together, Simpsons etc)
Right, ZERO. Because they aren’t a violent religion. And I don’t care about your buddy who is a Muslim, because he’s an American. 99.999% of people in the US who call themselves “religious” are really just “religion light” by world religion standards. I’m talking about Islam as it’s practiced in all these nations that are having protests. Farmers and mothers shouting “death to the Danes” over a cartoon.
But, let them scream for blood to flow through the streets over a cartoon, or what ever their next reason to riot is. The louder they get the more the court of public opinion will come down on them. The less the public opinion will go against us while we’re dropping bombs on them. I pretty dark, but truthful way to look at it.
OMG This just in…you’re a tool. Read my posts before saying I’m Ignorant. Did I say every fucking Muslim is a hater and wants to kill people…no I didn’t. All I said was look at how people are in the world today and how they treat others. Look at the other religions that people fallow. Even the extrests of those other religions dont go blowing up everybody they see because they don’t believe. I dont know if you have a personal vendetta against me but lay the fuck off. When I see articals in the paper of Christian groups opening soup kitchens for homeless people, and donating clothing and food and money to the needy, then I see shit in the news of suicide bombings and riots caused by Muslims, who am I going to believe does more to aid their fellow man? I am not saying all of them are like that nor did I in ANY post. But it is a messed up situation. You can not argue that.
actually Jeg had some good points. I dont understand why Christianity or other religions are being brought into this. Its a immature argument. Thats similar to your sister yelling at you for crashing her car drunk and you saying “Oh yeah, well you ran over my dog”… One has absolutely nothing to do with the other and doesnt justify your stupidity or ignorance in what happened.
On the contrary if you were to say that religions in general are to blame for much of the worlds violence and problems throughout history then that would make sense and I would totally agree.
Germany, Bosnia, Yougoslavia, South Africa… the list just goes on and on.
I think the reason for all this is intolerance, ignorance, and general stupidity.
I also think religion enhances all these factors in people. There may be many stupid people in the world but if they are spread out then they dont have any major effects. If you bring them together through a common ground (religion) then things change. There is STRENGTH in numbers. All these morons in a group under a unified banner can bring huge problems.
Religion has its good points but I think they are few and far in between. It doesnt teach one to believe in yourself which I think is the most important thing a person should know. Instead it teaches people to be afraid of some being who is looking down on them and to follow his rules (except his rules were written by people and reinterpreted hundreds of times over).
I follow my own fucking rules because I already know what is right and what is wrong. You dont need a rule book to know honor, respect, loyalty, tolerance, and to care about people and things around you.
I have no personal vandetta against you but you come off like an ignorant punk 95% of the time. Here you have some valid points, but blaming Bill clinton for the Oklahoma city bombing??? Talk about extreme, David korseh coresh whatever the fuck his name is, FUCKED LITTLE KIDS and to top it off he convinced their parents that he was a religous icon!!! He deserved to die but the people who died with him made a choice to be with him, thats a sad story. And speaking of decisions Mcveigh decided to wake up one day and kill as many people as he could with a bomb just to make a point, how the fuck is the president going to prevent that from happening? Should he have let koresh stockpile guns and molest children?
Parallels can be drawn between religions or groups of people–that’s the logic behind comparing one religion to another to another. It’s not illogical, especially when Islam and Christianity stem from the same tree.
You have to place yourself into the era of the crusades. Was Christianity as wide spread as it is today? Nope. Was there competition among it at other religions? Yup.
Look at it today: Are Muslims trying to gain more power and influence? You bet. So stating that “Well, uhm, Christians aren’t doing anything like this so it must mean that they’re more peaceful,” isn’t exactly encompassing the bigger picture here–Christianity has about all the followers it’s going to get. Humans are rationlizing, but not always rational. I think you have to consider both the person AND the situation to determine why a person or a group of people act the way in which they do, and not just “well, it’s the type of people/religion they are.”
When asked by journalists about the Allied strategic bombing of Germany during WWII, Winston Churchill responded something to the effect of “don’t confuse the fireman with the arsonist”. Like the Israeli’s and the Palestinians. Not that the Israeli’s haven’t made some mistakes, but to equate the tactics of the two is plain stupid, or willfully ignorant. Our occupation of Iraq, while far from perfect, should not be compared to the actions of terrorists. The purpose is different, the tactics are different, and the result is different.
Those who blame terrorism on the victims are either liberals with a huge load of (unwarranted) guilt or indulging on the behavior known as “blaming the victim”. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victim_blaming They do this for a variety of reasons which have in common their own psychological or moral shortcomings.
