I have some fairly thick rubber hose with nylon woven inside…its about the size i need to connect the two bits of EGR hardline together which i have from a botched attempt at removing it for a header install.
If i used this rubber tubing to connect the two does anyone think it could melt? Or might i be safe?
Umm considering EGR gases reach upwards of 400 degrees celsius I would say it wouldnt be smart dude.

yeah, uh, I’ll admit it, I tried it. It lasted about 500km(maybe 4-5 days), then melted off
