has anyone gone to this shop? any bad comments about them?
Ive walked in and talked with them for a bit, but unless you are gonna be blowing some good cash there they will be dicks to you. At least thats what i found.
true that. i have been in there a few times and they will do a $5000 job or they dont want to work on your car. looks like they do some goot shit tho.
they treated me pretty well when i brought in my 90 supra to them a while ago. i probaly spent only 3000 on my car but they did a really good job and was honest about the work. if you have a lot of money and big plans for your car then thats the place to take your car too.
The owner is a crazy old Japanese guy, hes really persistant that you do things his way and kinda a go big or go home mentallity, But the man knows his shit too.
hes chinese. you should see the garage… al ot of highly modifed rides lol
but has he done the work on those rides ?
a lot of the cars i seen there has been parked for well over 6 months. im guessing people are willing to sacrifice their cars for that long for the good work done? theres countless mk3 supras and celicaall tracs in there… havent seen much hondasthough but a few nissans.
Chinese and no Honda/Acura’s???
…wha!?
he despises FWD LOL when i had my integra , he wouldnt and didnt even seem interested in turboing my car when i asked him… last year
Smart man.
so a graveyard to others means a modified heaven to you ?

My father would like to take his wiring harness for his fj there to get redone. Would this be a good place to go? Can anyone recommend another place that could do this?

I am not hating but asking questions about this place . There are alot of broken cars that have been there for years …
I’ve known Ray, the proprietor, for a long time and he is chinese and extremely notorious.
Here is my take and experiences with him:
If you drive something he likes (Toyota, RWD… In that order) he’ll treat you with some semblance of respect. He sort of likes RWD Nissans, but I think the reason why he slags anything that is non-toyota is because he is too stubborn to learn how to work on anything other than a toyota.
If you own something else, you could be treated to any combination of the following words: garbage, junk, crap etc. and he’ll be quick to usher you out the door.
He is loud, verbally abusive, brash, and very pushy. Certainly not the level of mental stability that a mechanic I would want working under my hood.
I might add that he can’t drive very well either, anyone who has attended a track day on that Calgarian raceway (name escapes me) will understand. Not that I’m worth anything behind a wheel, but neither is he.
If you’ve had good experiences with him, good on you, I’d reccommend you stay with him because you’re probably in his good graces somehow.
Other than that, I personally will stay away from him, there are alot better people out there.
