Probably the most controversial video evAr. Guy had a skyline shipped from Motorex, we ran into each other days after he received the car. We were driving around 30mph, I pull up, you can hear him drop a gear, I gun it, you hear the Skyline spinning and making noises a few seconds later and then it breaks. It was later found out the transmission blew when it wouldn’t go into third gear. Look for a rematch this spring. This video is strictly for entertainment! I am not saying I beat him or lost or it was a real race or whatever.
i find it funnier that the skyline is put on such a pedestal that people actually laugh at the owners of them.

you can buy a stock 1g talon tsi awd and put down the same hp w/ a 16g, ebay fmic, safc2 and a fuel pump upgrade

HP does NOT = what the price of the car is. What is so hard to understand about that? and also, it is RATED at 276 hp. Remember the old maros with the 302 rated at something similar to that yet put down about 200 more? so back then you would be like “that car is a piece of shit for the money it only has 275 hp.”?

you can mod a 4g63t to run close to a stock skyline. but the skyline is still stock and has a TON of modability. these things are doing 600hp on stock bottom ends.
for one, rb26detts are rated at 276 but actually put out about 300hp stock.
for two, do a few mods to that, and it will have more hp than a dsm ever would
for three, id rather drive a skyline than a dsm. not because “its a skyline,” because of the actual capabilities of the car
however i also would not spend my $75k ona skyline, but to each their own
