Did you put on the bar the proper way? (Jacking the car up first?)
yes we did.other wise it wouldnt fit.
It doesnt bolt to the struts btw.
when they don’t attach to the struts, i always attach my strut bars with grade 10 hardware. i would bolt up through the towers with a washer on the bottom, one on top of the bar, and with the bar double nutted. you can jump up and down on it and feel no flex.
nutserts suck.
They actually attach to the bolts that hole the Upper control arms to the body of the car.
I was just never a fan of the look of Neuspeed sturt bars. but Function > Form
yea both vlad and myself have the neuspeed bars. the rears attach just like every other strut tower bar, its mainly the fronts that are different
the best bars are the “twin tube” type for rigidity. at least the neuspeed bar is non-hinged.
Should look better when I get a chance to polish it.
I think the neuspeed bar is the only front strut that is non-hinged for the Prelude. I’ve never seen any others at least.
I absolutly LOVE my Carbing rear strut bar. Its stiff as hell. I could deginatly feel the difference in the back end.
i love taking things out of context
wow… you have a sick mind matt. LOL
dude, you said it :nono :wtf :crackup
not meaning that.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
UPDATE TIME!!
Jakes got some New parts Ready to Go on the Lude
This week I will be performing the complex surgery, Where I convert His Lame ass 4x114.3 Hubs…
To a Sweet Ass 5x114.3!
Heres the new Hubs (Off a 5th Gen Lude) and New Pads & Rotors
EEEWWW The Ricer who we got the calipers from thought they would look cool red…
We thought otherwise, So we Started to Stripp the paint off them…
To top off This 5 Lug conversion, I got my hands on a set of 5th Gen Prelude wheels.
Theyre a lil dirty, but Once they are fully polished, they will look SEXY!
Ill be doing this conversion over the next few days. Hopefully everything goes smoothly…
Thanks for puttin those up Nick. The studs are ARP extended studs and I got some shit open ended lugs till I find something I like this spring. Also picked up some JDM window visors that will go on sometime this spring as well.
nice update. 5 lug swap FTW. those wheels will probably look pretty pimp on there too. :tong
:wow at the 5 lug.
What color are you guys painting the calipers? Black?
yes black
maybe silver…I kinda like the raw metal look, lol
Are those Prelude wheels wrapped in Kumho Ecsta v700’s? Are they in good shape? If so, there’s a decent set of r-comp’s waiting to get used… :thumb
