Are you kidding me? Slipknot is FULL of talent. Joey is a very very good drummer along with playing both guitar and bass professionally. Both Jim and Mick and incredible guitarists. I forgot where I read it, but their first album was stuffed full of solos and the lable took them out of the final versions. The music they make does not mean they don’t have talent, but this is the sound they are after.

bands get gimicky after they get popular.Once a band becomes more known, there styles start to change so they can widen their audience, while trying to keep their current following. All bands do that.
