Are you referring to my drawings? They’re not meant to be taken literally… more as a comic relief in a horrible situation. I’m extremely upset about this disaster and my way of coping is MSPAINT to lighten the mood, if only for a couple of seconds.
We could drop your E30 on the oil spill and do heaterz to stop the flow of oil, too…

Look at the Snuggie thing… To me it looks like someone had a chineese factory full of poorly made oversized robes and found a solution on the spot.
It’s not a broken pipe that’s gushing wide open. If it were we could just stuff a giant tampon down it.
It’s a cracked pipe. I vote for giant soup can and worm clamps.
You would also need a lot of tin foil to help seal it like a gasket. I see no problems with this solution.
