I am shopping for snow boards and I haven’t the 1st clue what is cool isn’t in the land of the boarder. What are some kinds of snow boards I should be looking for? Mind you, my #1 priority is picking up young chix and looking cool, not boarding well.
key to picking up chicks is being able to ride well , how do u think i do it?? haha, if u want a bomb ass board just blow all ur cash on a burton custom
You crazy ricer you.
But seeing as this was brought up, where is a good place to learn how to snowboard also, been considering getting into this.
kissing bridge or holiday valley, just go on the easy trails
My approach is; buy a 10-pak, buy a board and some gear, look for the biggest hill and go for it!!
:word: that works too
Take your pick:
Burton - The ladies will dig you cuz you have a board from the “OG” snowboard company
Cost:$$$$
Ride - THe ladies will dig you cuz you arent a conformist and realize that Burton isnt GOD, but you still fronted the cash for an awesome board
Cost:$$$
M3 - The ladies will dig you cuz you have a board from a company that spends their money where it counts - on the important things like making great boards and not just advertizing the hell out of their name.
Cost:$$
but yeah, you gotta have at least some skill, you wont be really succesful picking up the bunnies if you cant keep up with them

GNU for the win
^^^ word im rocking a burton custom 156 and love it
make sure you get a board that is right for your size/weight too
<— same.
i only buy burton stuff now. i’ve had way too much other equipment crap out on me in the past to screw around with my cash.
EDIT: i don’t buy it to be cool. i buy it because it always WORKS
i have a sick burton jacket and mittens
but im not a big fan of burton since its the more mainstream kinda company that the kids that dont know anything about it but
kinda like vans or something for skateboarding
Yeah i did ski club my senior year, got a nice board and shit for the season (rented it)…i use to board when i was a kid so i figured hey how hard could it be right…wrong. I went down the trail next to the kiddie hill at kissing bridge…only thing i could still do is stop, evidently 12 years of growing fucks up your ability to shift your weight the way u remember it lol. needless to say i fell, or should i say tumbled down 3/4 of it.
yeah i rock a burton hat and pants, sick comfort, i want a butron jacket to go along, hehe. I ride a k2 nemesis although i wouldnt recommend buying k2 anymore since theyre ownership is now changed. my board was over 400 dollars and worth every penny, i also have a nice set of ride bindings and salamon boots. i am about 6 ft tall and ride a 162cm board to give u a general idea of where u might stand with size. As with all sports, equipment DOES matter so dont cheap out, and dont buy shit assuming u will, “grow into it”. i did that and ended up buyin new boots a yr later, sad part is i tried on every boot in the store the second time and ended up getting the same pair just a size smaller. i was pissed about that but my riding and comfort level improved 150% after that. Good Luck finding something u like, i always love shopping for expensive stuff, i love to blow cash
I love my Burton UNINC, in fact im going to wax her now.
I had those step in bindings, they are sweet…just stand on your board and your attached.
speaking of all this boarding, anyone wanna go to HV wed. night shussmeisters? im thinkin bout going if anyone wants to ride
