Would anyone be interested in flying out west to hit up a mountain for a day?
for a day? no.
you would have to get on a plane in pit at 5 am to land in DEN at 7 local time. It’s at least an hour to A-basin or Loveland, which are 2 of the closer resorts to the airport. You would probably only make it through half of any big resort like Breck, before you would have to leave again (no night skiing means they close at 4:30). One day is not worth it. Save up for another 3 months, and go out the first week that they start spring rates. Still great snow, the occasional storm (I got to ski 20" of powder this past april), and cheaper.
I’m going out Tomorrow, and will be back Sunday. It has been the snowiest start to a season in 26 years.

love too. since i have skied out west i quit skiing. it was awesome out there, to the point that it spoiled me to never ski around here again. If you get the chance to go take it. it was awesome when i went. have fun while you are there.
for a day I was meaing stay say friday night, ride saturday and try and catch a sat night flight. Now i think i may just go to vegas for a weekend, Anyone interested in that?
yup…vail was the shit and the china bowl there was awesome with it’s cliffs and 2 foot unpacked snow.
