A friend of ours posted this picture of one of her Great Danes in the snow. Bronco is 36" at the shoulder
I literally hit it perfect with mounting my snow tires. Made an appointment last week for Monday with BlackForest and now
I am ready for much shenan/hool-igains in some parking lots tonight.
I drove the Cayenne last night, the speed rated tires were terrible in the snow. Does anyone have a hook up on the Nokian Hakkapeliita 8?
hahaha. holy fuck.
At this point wait till Monday when its supposed to be 60
that’s a lot of snow. keep updating with the new totals.
Havent read much of this thread yet. More of a… Im buried in my house in Lancaster with no way to get out. I have no shoulder since i just had surgery on it a week ago, and my snowblowers are out of gas after trying to use em earlier. No plows have been on my street since before 6am. Dogs are hopefully gonna hold in the poop. I can open my front door enough to let em out to pee on the front porch (its ground level?) but yup.
Not going anywhereeeeeeeee

what a bust for the city
Yeah wish I had Xbox one lol
Dude if I was back home i’d for sure try to come over and dig you out.
With a bum shoulder I couldnt even imagine. Hope you’re doing ok!
Anyone know which towns are still looking for snowmobile volunteers? Going to go grab my trailer and the wife’s SUV at 2pm, sled is already at my house and ready to go.
Better off buying paddles or an ark at that point. All this shit thawing is gonna floooood.
I definitely know WS is hurting. Of their 22 plows 10 are stranded.
Anyone know if I can siphon gas from an E90 BMW and / or R56 Mini Cooper? I’ve gone through all my gas for my snowblower after 3 hours this morning.
Guess I will find out if all that money I spent on yard drainage paid off
I may be asking you to come over and run shop-vac cycles with me. LOL
If rains with 3 feet of snow your roof, you may want to get out because you will have about 100,000 lbs of water on your roof in a big snow sponge.
Yeah the weight on roofs is something I’ve been concerned about. I remember the 7’ storm collapsing many garages & some houses even.
Pretty sure you can’t, but you can remove the back seat and just take off the fuel access to the tank, tap the metal ring with a hammer and screwdriver to loosen it and that will get you access to the fuel.

That’s a tough one for me coming from Amherst.
Called Cheektowaga PD and they said they’re good for now. Called Erie County Emergency Services and they referred me to a fire captain who’s basically running the volunteer dispatch. He wasn’t aware they were going to start sending him calls but told me they definitely needed help in Lancaster/Depew, took my number, and said he’d call me back as soon as he knew who to contact.
Sounds like things are running a little off plan at the various disaster services places with this storm.
