I spray mine down with Fluid Film in the fall, especially all the crevices where snow and salt could get stuck, then I give it a good bath in the spring. I bought mine used about 2 years old, so I had a small amount of surface rust and chipping paint from the previous owner not taking care of it. It’s stopped any further progression and still looks new.
