anyone into trucks have an opinion… im in great need of a new truck since mines @77k tranny//balljoint… // fuel gauge sender…
soo i ve been shopping and nothing really fits me to well… i love oversized tires from the factory… and flares… and four doors…
i just hate how new truck interior’s [except z71 chevy’s] [minus colorado’s] looks like cheap foriegn car interior… and i never got a chance to look inside a titan yet… so i can t give a 4 sure…
but anyway … whats everyones opinions on the TITAN VS Z71 COLORADO…
TITAN - all white with big chrome grill and chrome wheels…
colorado - all black… bars… i don t think they offer chrome rims…
4 doors…
anyone wanna buy a zr2? runs and drives perfect… just tranny pumps heading out the door… and needs a fuel sender… 67$… and one tire and ball joint…
i like th enissan but if you actualy get undeath one and take a look at the frame and the sturucture i would pass. if you where going to use it as a TRUCk
if you just looking to roll 20’s and put the impin in pimpin your all good with the nissan
i use my truck to haul cars and misc stuff all the time… but my dad has a duramax diesal so i just steal it when i need something heavy duty… it tow’s with out even knowing you have a car back there…
as for 20’s… not my thing… but i would agree they probally would look decent on a 2wd titan…
z71 silver with the new front in extended cab would be nice in black…
i had one at work… i don t think there bad for the people who like to put 20’s on. but the interior’s decent… then you see the radio… totally ruins the truck thing…
Just fix ur ZR-2 its a nice truck and I know a mechanic that works for dirt cheap instead of paying 30K for a new one dump a 1K into ur truck and its just like new.
Tundra or tacoma. I think a tacoma will be my next purchase. I reccomend the toyotas because they will retain there value much better than either of the trucks you are looking at and are more reliable.
Just for example, i have a 1992 toyota 4-runner 3.0 v6. We have owned it since the very beginning and have put all 160,000+ miles on the vehicle. All the maintenence has been done by me and so far it has just needed the brakes replaced, and the bearings needed lubed every few years because the grease freezes in the winter. Also had to recharge the a/c once a year or two ago. Other than that there have been no problems at all, really. I have abused the truck since i was 16 years old, and it has been jumped, scraped, off-roading all the time and its still running.
The body is rusting in the back that all started when it was rear-ended by a drunk at a stoplight. The rust will be the only thing that stops this truck because it runs solid as shit. (with that said i will prolly fuck it up now, so im gonna cross my fingers)
