So i started my car on fire...

i have these 3 blue neon lights in my car, and they all wouldnt work hooked up to my cigarette lighter, too much power, so my brother in law who is pretty good with cars said that i could wire them up to my amp, using the battery and ground wire, so i did that, and they worked fine for a few days, then the wires fryed and my backseat caught on fire, but i was lucky to be in the car at the time and there was no damage, but i guess i was supposed to wire them using the battery wire, then ground them to the car, not the ground wire, will this work instead??? :?

Sounds like another case of fried rice…Shouldn’t this post be somewhere else…

LOL thats funny, “fried rice.”

Sorry to hear that TravyPoo. When I used to  have neon light in my car I wired them individually to a specific toggle. Try to avoid sharing grounds.
