At this point I’d hate to see the Germans pull away from Chrysler.

And let me point out that the K-car did indeed save Chrysler not just because of the Aries and Reliant, but everything they made after it was based off the damn K-car for about a decade. The Minivans were tall stretched K-cars with leaf springs in the rear. The P-bodys (Shadow/sundance) were reskinned k-cars. Daytonas, spirits, lebarons, ect, all modded k-cars. These cars all shared a ton of parts and designs. It cut development and engineering. The k car did indeed save Chrysler.
