Yep, I think the are the same frames. Big differences are the brakes, mine has hydraulic disc (insane stopping power), and the front fork.
Yeah I opted away from the Hydro brakes since I figured I could always upgrade them down the road if I feel that I need them. I love the bike so far though!
Gotta run an air fork on a hardtail.
