I’m looking at some Hybrid’s and watching reviews, etc. online and I came across this video.
Can anyone tell me why I felt compelled to post this?
cause it’s filmed at ualbany… the guy that does some reviews for the paper and some online publications lives in guilderland… i’ve seen some pictures of cars he’s reviewed at ualbany in the past too.

edit watched the video and this car gets the same mpg as the jetta tdi but it’s smaller and more expensive
He normally gets manufacturer plates, not sure why this is a NJ one. Good guy, chatted with him a few times over the years.

I’ll still stop in Chris (on Monday)…but I’ve been researching and talking to people quite a bit the last couple of hours and all I hear is: “Stay away from Germany”
Two guys who I’m friends with (one has an 05 VW Jetta and the other an 09) both said to stick to Japanese since I already like them anyway. Both have had electrical issues with the security system, etc. and while both said it wasn’t an issue where it stranded them…I don’t know if I’d want to deal with it. My M, knock on wood, hasn’t had a single issue in 2yrs, 50kmi since I bought it.
And for low 30k…you get Lexus quality.
We will see though what your dealership offers me as far as trade-in.
