So my tires were rubbing on my fender lining and it rubbed right thru some wires that caused my turn signals to not work properly.
And then with the help of John (Jammin) and Walter (walterdixon), we got it all fixed up and this is what it looked like after.
And walter made this plate so that my tires won’t rub against my wires if anything were to happen again. lol
I’ll take pics of how it looks like from the wheel well when i have the time. anyways, it held up pretty good and that’s my story.
relocate your wiring harness and your rubbing issues will be solved, its better than a band aid rub plate
umm, the metal plate will puncure a hole in your tire and will put you in a worse situation than some rubbed wires…
take off the fender and tuck it behind there
jesse, you’re looking at the outside (top) of the fender liner… the tire rubs on the other side… it’s nice and smooth aluminum on that side and it shouldn’t hurt his tire.
metal tape for extra protection, nice, if the tire contacts that it should hold up better and allow the tire to slid off it rather than that rippled plastic crap

I guess it’s not as bad. I’ve seen worse though, with people using plastic
pop bottles to cover their wires. You know who you are. 
the harness is out of the way and the aluminum is nice a smooth on the other side.

If that aluminum is there to prevent any more damage to wires due to tire rubbing, maybe you should also think about whats happening to the tire.
It might just be a slight rub, but any rub is bad.
MTO can make you tow your car if they find rubbing.
i’m surprised you didn’t know your wiring harness was there in the first place.
