So the shop just called...

“We’re gonna have to recommend you take it to the dealer, because we can’t seem to find the problem. We also won’t be charging you for anything”

Great, abso-freakin’-loutely great.

I’d take it to the dealer but I already had Nate (who works at 401 dixie)
come by with Consult and he couldn’t figure shit out so I dunno what
the dealer is gonna do (and still manage to take my $ even jsut
for ‘looking’).

Someone come shoot me.

gonad -> :run::rl: <- me

And no timing is kinda bad to even do an SR and I’m not even attempting
a KA swap.

I’ll see you at the Car Buy and Sell section. No bumping before 7 days. :wavey:

Chances of that are happening as are good as Indian people stopping
from smelling for good.

So you won’t swap a KA, or an SR, and you wont sell your car?

Knock on wood? :dunno:

You misunderstood/read what I said.

Timing is not good for an SR (i.e. cash funds) and no way in hell I’m
wasting my time doing a KA if I’m gonna do an SR this winter anywho.

Nissan is my option, at least for initial diagnostic and then we go from there.

I won’t have enough for an SR till at least September if I watch my $.

swap injectors.

lemme tell you, those injectors are a pain in the ass to get out… spent like an hour trying to take mine out to lend to g… but it was unsucessful. if you have an easy method to remove them, please enlighten us. thanks.

did you check your compression yet or what

I have an extra set he can buy. he can take them out though  haha. They are not a pice of cake to get out.

If they’re still on the rail I probablly have a better chance at taking the
entire rail out.

Well I’m about to go pick the car up and time for some more tinkering.

Man it really sucks to find time to drop car off anywhere working and all.

I’m skeptical of taking it to Nissan but looks like I have no choice. Fuck
this sucks.

fuck they are easy, just spray em up with some penetrating fluid ,

if its that haard for u wait for a few weeks and my car will be on the road , illl come down to bramladesh and figure out your problem for u

penetrating fluid? nice.

I have watched Chris remove/install injectors a bunch of times.

You require a pair of channel locks and a slotted screw driver.

Squeeze the injector (after removing all of the fastening hardware obviously) on either side of the plug area (after you have removed the wires), and while twisting ever so slightly at first, pry up slowly under the ledge of the injector with the driver. When it starts to move more freely, turn it a bit more back and forth while prying.

This is a pretty tedious job, if you don’t have patients, don’t try this. If you do, then just be carefull in the process.

Are you kidding me, take a set of vise grips and just giver’

I swaped Injectors in my car at the shop before the dyno no word of a lie in under 10min.

Yeah I’ve now swapped injectors a few times as well, I guess once you’ve done it, it becomes a lot easier.

Yup – I just did some injectors on my car…15 minutes for all 4. I guess I was lucky they were not stuck.

i guess shit happens when you have 360xxx km on the motor… in any case, i did use channel locks as well as vice grips, the plastic was quite brittle and snapped/stripped right off. oh well, that motor is garbage anyways, only did it to lend the injectors to g :D. good luck in getting your car fixed ^^.
