ha, I have a hx40 thats slated to go on a 3.4 so we’ll see. I’ve heard good things so far, but don’t know just how credible the sources are.

I’ve seen nothing but bad news from them in the past. VaporTrail is right, they are used to great lengths on the cummins motors. I just don’t see your car using one to its full potential when there are plenty of other better, more viable options out there

I know that you don’t frequent honda-tech much, but all the reviews of them are great. I think I would stick w/ garrett though.

many neon owners are using them on their 2.0’s with great success. it has alot stronger center section than a garrett does. big yes but cheap and effective very.

good buddy of mine a while back did a sleeved b20vtec with an hx35. it put down around 535hp and made full boost by 4500 rpm. not bad for a $100 turbo.

Nothing wrong with the turbos, the housings certain vendors are making for them are a little shaky…i have an hx50 that needs a home.

[ive herd alot of horror stories on the housings cracking or being real shittty…

dan do it right save the extra bucks and get a good turbo

holeset turbos last forever, the housings that crack are the shitty ones that aftermarket are making, i’d rather have that than PTE deciding not to put bolted down thrust bearings in their garrett large frame t4 turbos and having them walk.

just seeing what my options are. Pretty much trying to gather info from all other people who drive different cars. For some reason neon owners love this turbo as well as other mr2 owners. But chances are ill spend alot more and go garrett same as what everyone else is having such good luck with.

I think the turbonetics 60-1 would be a decent match up for that car…
for like 650 cant go wrong
