I dunno, that looks alright but IMO i think its almost a bit much. But then again if you can flare out the fenders to make it mesh better then it could look much better. Interesting project regardless.

youll be finding out this summer i guess … violator and i have some planning to do, then we have to pick thru what we can do and what needs to be farmed out
would be realy nice if we could get it all cut, moved out & tack welded, because im pretty confident we could tackle the welding pretty easily … just as long as we can kep the surrounding panel cool

Knock offs… I really made no sense to spend $2600 on SSR’s and then cut them up and spend another $1700 to get them where I want them… There might have also been major strength issues with the very thin, spun rim section after welding.
Nice editing… the pic is still lacking because the car sits so damn high. It will be 1.5 inches or more lower when its done. Mustangs look REALLY nasty when they are lowered a lot.

no, actualy its going to be quite the slick widebody conversion … its going to look like a mustang … and from alot of angles its hardly going to look like much was done

Very cool. The widening is a lot of work.
There is a guy with a black 97 Cobra vert that did the same thing. He basically cut the car right down the middle and then added like 4-6" of metal in the center and welded the car back together. It was a very cool project and the car looks ridiculously hot.
fucking bad-ass man, :tup: :tup: to doing instead of talking. I like the widebody idea as I also have a mental pic of what it could look like when it’s finished, should stay pretty subtle unless it’s side-by-side with another mustang/cobra.
